Possible idea

Hey guys, I was tinkering around with my medallion and got to thinking, What if we had an event just for the medallion? Could be a speed event similar to reed speed or a flight timed event. The reason for this idea is it would kinda level the playing field and the medallion is quite easy to run as long as it's in stock form and doesn't really care about where its food supply comes from the only allowed engine mod would be the NV. What do you guys think?

While we're at it, how about a Texaco duration event? Oh, that's alrerady been done. lol!

Regarding the Medallion, I don't have one so I can't comment. If anyone has a reasonable example they wouldn't mind sending down under, I could be enticed. Smile

"nods" I was just thinking since there are quite a few of them around and they are beginner friendly plus since it doesn't have as much power you could run shorter lines as well which means more room "shrugs" eh it an idea lol (Bandit)

Yeah, that would give me a reason to get another one. I've only ever had one and it behaves just as the Bandit claims. I flew a Li'l jumpin' Bean and a Cap'n Blackhawk Kom-Bat with it, both on party balloons.

The lil jumpin' bean is what I used to fly mine on as well. I also had it on an old ace GLH. Anyway I was hoping that an event like this would get some more folks involved as well as to show off how easy the medallion or the "poor mans TD" as I've heard them called is to run. Smile

I have one on my stuntman 23 and that's a plenty for me , I need to steam the wing warp out of it so will fly better but takes to the air like a scared quail bounce

My lil jumpin' bean used to hall butt too with it. I got mine all cleaned up however I need a new carb body and NV it got broke off when my GLH went in way back. I got the remainder of the NV out just need a new replacement. The spray bar is ok however the plastic carb body is cracked. If an event develops out of this, I'm thinking about putting it on a dewy bird or something similar.
