TD Combat ship
I bought a semi finished 1/2A combat ship from a friend. Foam/ wood/ mylar covering. Metal mounts that are removeable. I plan on using a Binky pacifier type tank. Gerber makes baby pacifiers that work quite well. Binky made fittings for bladders years ago. You coukld make your own with brass tubing. Looks like 200Sq. " windspan and very lite. Plane has a mono boom that needs repair and tank was never installed. Clear red covering was used and lucky I have some of that type covering. I will use my YD's in this first.
Well I got a big surprise delivered by mailman and few minutes ago. My very long time friend sent me a new Cyclon .049 Wow factor big time!! This is great gift and am quite moved.

Re: TD Combat ship
That's a seriously hot engine. Here's some good information. The link on that page to the .06 offers some possible help from several smart guys too.

TD
I was taken by surprise on this one. I have a Fora .06 also that I bought a few months ago. Both the Cyclon and Fora will see combat duty. I have planes for the TD and will enjoy it all. Funny as a week ago picked up two new Norvel's at RC swap meet. A .049 and .15. Both nice. Still I think the finest looking and just great .049 was the Cox RR1. The Blue and Gold with ribbing is still awesome to the eyes. The Olympic .15/ Space Hopper in next order. The Russian engine of today are excellent power plants for sure.

Dan did you see the fora .020?
A lovely engine.
Combat
I have seen picture of Fora .020. Beauty and heard they were no better than the TD .020. I do not know if this is the case or not. I believe they used a TD glow plug but not sure.

FORA 020
Andy W had a sweet Fora 020, but it wasn`t quite a fora anymore, it was extensively remodeled.
I have heard mixedd reviews about the fora 020, unlike the other fora models that I have heard no ill news of.

Hey Dan, you mentioned a pacifier; what are the advantages of that over the surgical tubing like I'm using?

Combat
Rusty,
This is what they used before bladders in combat. Binky made fittings that fit Gerber made pacifiers. You can make one from tubing. Less pressure than bladder. They form in a round shape instead of sussage shape. they were quite common in FF ships also that used TD's. Some bladders have way to much force and hard to get good setting. Dan
