Post  happydad Thu Sep 24, 2015 5:21 pm

will this help maybe halfway?

PT-19 .... Cox_pt10

they make/sell paper for printers you can print these on, after sizing, and have stickers, or slide off decals. it's about $1 per page.

Funny I can open this link with my laptop using google chrome as a browser with Win10, but my desktop with Edge and Win10 does not open the link. Yeh for win10 and edge, NOT.  Two Cents   Devil

welcome to the 20th century. Oh yes, we are in the 21st century. I am ready to trade in my color ink jet printer for a color laser printer, less than $400.00 now, and you don't even have a color printer.

Welcome Good Idea I Agree With Above

I would never use a color copier enough to justify the cost.

Sad we only paid...

we only paid about $99 for a HP ink jet photo printer. The ink jet printer is fine for photos, but the laser printer is much sharper when doing work like labels.
The price comes down every year. One of my PC students found a nice color ink jet printer for $ 49.00. Printer is cheap, the ink is expensive.

I did my Rare Bear graphics by scaling the images on the computer to the size I wanted.. and had them laser-printed on adhesive-backed full-sheet laser-compatible clear film. I chose a matte finish. My wife had access to a laser printer at work. There are many places that will laser-print your material. The clear label sheets aren't cheap (have to buy a package of them) but then you'd have it for other projects.. stickers.. etc. I figured that ink-jet images could run/bleed when sealing with a clear lacquer. I used Top Flight Crystal Clear LustreKote and had no trouble with the laser-printed graphics. You don't need to invest in a printer.. most office supply stores have laser printers.. and will make single copies for you, for a small cost/ea. If you're unsure you scaled your image(s) correctly, have them printed on std. copy paper and check the size with a ruler at the store. They can also enlarge/reduce your images until you're satisfied with the size.

Good idea Roddie. I use a ink jet printer, then spray with clear krylon and make sure it is completely dry before using. I have been thinking of upgrading to the laser printer because almost every inkjet printer we have used, about 6 or 7, have problems with the ink drying out when not used for weeks at a time. And that is how ours gets used. An HP laser color printer can be purchased for as low as $399.00 now. We paid more than that for our HP black laser printer, about 7 years ago and it is still going strong. Two Cents

If you gave me an HP printer I would take right to the can, POS. The software sucks and the ink games are over the top.
Buy a set of stickers and be done.

My HP color inkjet has worked fine for 2+ years and the ink I buy on eBay has also. We print mostly photos with it and use a 12 year old HP laser printer for everything else.
No problems even when we didn't use HP ink.
