George T. Babbitt, Jr.
Surfing the web wave tonight, I stumbled on a
music related nugget, and thought some of you
all might get a kick out of it.
If you remember the surf rock group
"The Ventures"(or not) check this out.

Man, that takes me back a l o n g, l o n g way. Sorry to hear of his passing, the Ventures were a strong influence on a lot of rock bands.....the band that lauched a 1000 rock bands. I was at a friends house tonight and they played "Pipeline" on the radio. That is probably the only riff I can still play on guitar after all these years!

Never got as good as these guys, so I became a listener of music, rather than a player.
Never get tired of hearing it or watching other people play like Roddie, George and others who have the talent/gift.
