Hello everyone ! There are more hobby shows coming up
Happy New Year and hello to everyone on the Cox engines forum for those of you collectors and hobbyists that live around Pennsylvania and New Jersey in New Jersey there is the AMA Exposition show coming up in another week or so and in Pennsylvania there is the Lebanon and Hamburg radio control airplane show and swap meet there really good shows if you get a chance to get out to them also I wanted to mention despite what has happened with Tower Hobbies I spoke to a guy that worked for the Cox Factory about 15 years ago and he led me to believe that Sig Manufacturing made the Cox fuel Sig has an excellent variety of model engine fuel and can cook knows a lot about fuel also I know I have been slacking but I'm still in the process of getting my collection together and taking photographs to upload to the website

Model engine fuel
I was saying in my earlier post Ken Cook is very knowledgeable about the model engine fuel I have already run my Cox Jeep and other Cox cars on 10% Nitro but I prefer to have 15 to 20% I was actually thinking about experimenting years ago a friend of mine mixed ether and castor oil or ether and 3 in 1 oil for one of my Cox Jeeps that is a runner I'm curious to see if alcohol and castor oil would run the engine all us guys are like a bunch of little kids having a great time
