Coming soon to a bench near you!
Hi everyone, Fixing to start another major project soon and an RC project on top of that however this one is going to somewhat different...ok a good bit different from the norm here and I think this is probably going to be the first project of this kind on CEF.
What is this project? Well I know Cox has dabbled in the FF heli market so I thought that I would be different and post the build of my TSA 700Npro 90 class RC helicopter which is coming up after I get done with my little flight streak. I still have to get a few more items for it before I can start the build so here are a couple of pics of the kit box along with a shot of the spec panel to give an idea of its size to start things off anyway enjoy!
Here it is, starts off as a big box of parts twelve pounds worth
And now the spec's Hmm, Giant TD's anyone? lol

Good Grief! That's a big boy. Those are the ones that compel me to run hide behind the bleachers and peer between the seats in relative safety from getting my head chopped off.

Yeah it is a big boy, However I'm not one of those that come close to the line when I fly. Things are changing in the 3D arena however due to some fairly recent close calls and the new regulations that are now in force. Aside for a few basic maneuvers, and inverted I don't fly 3D. The closest to anything 3D i get is trying to learn CL stunt This (Heli's) is what I primarily fly when I fly RC. (Bandit)RknRusty wrote:Good Grief! That's a big boy. It's gonna have a YS .91 fuel injected twostroke in it. They used to have optional gearing and fan shrouds for four strokes but four strokes just weren't up to par with the two strokes as far as power goes, vibration was another issue as well so they just died out in the US, now they still have them in Europe "I think" because they are pretty quiet and sound nice.getback wrote:Bandit you going with a 4 stroke in that monster ? Yup there are a few heli guys in the club and yes our club hosts competitions The Clintstone event is one. As far as the build, I've still got to get a few more things before I can start on it, still have to get the reciever, battery and blades lol.
