Sportsman .15 glow plug options
I'm looking at a Sportsman, and I would like to know if the MECOA conversion head can be used on this engine before I try to make a deal. Thanks!

yeah, i don't beleive the engine had any differences in thread diameter like the vintage 049ers do.

The Sportsman is very user friendly engine. Easy to tune and use. Great engine for Magicain .15. Plenty of room for engine and tank. Also a lite weight engine.

There wqas a guy who use to drill and tap old plugs and use Standard glow plugs. I guess drilling and tapping 1/4/32 would be not to hard.
Sort plus are about $5.00-$6.00 maybe less if you find a good vendor. Or use Nelson threads and get a fine plug set-up.
