From electric to gas !!
So I have a friend that builds planes & his dream is to become a master & take a plane to world competition. He is young but very talented. For the past months he has been building me a 1/6 scale Dusty Jolly Wrenches with retractable landing gear fuel tanks & rockets just like in the movie. He starting off with a at-502b 1/6 scale plans & short kit from teamduster.com & the rest of wood is sourced from national balsa. tnt landing gear & fibertech. I was going with a E flight 540 electric motor. But now for some reason we are going with a Saito fg30. The plane with a 100'' wingspan & motor weighs in around 20 lbs. Im having him to send me some pic's of the build . Ill try to have them posted by tonight. Dang a Gasser. hahha!!

Yes, they are specialists in “AG” airframes. That’s gonna be cool for sure! Check ‘em out: http://www.teamduster.com/airtractorbuilders.html

Sorry Sir .Dusty Crophopper Is the star of Planes. Its an animated movie from Disney. Its a kid show but I loved it as well. Its about Planes & more Planes. In one of the last scenes. The Navy gave him his colors And he became part of the Navy Jolly Wrenches. And yes this is the plane we are building. Its a big challenge for this young man but I believe he can build it. He is a 4th generation pilot & scratch kit builder.
