Well,
If you wanted a .60 then the only thing you can do is contact the seller and inform him you are not happy.
Get a full refund or some of your money back and keep it.

Also, they make a product called alumiweld. It’s actually more like a solder, works really well as long as the base metal is spotlessly clean.
It would be really easy to fix the intake tube with, then sand and polish it smooth for an invisible strong repair.

Re: Not as Described
Exactly! Not As Described. They sent you a 23. You bid on the item described as a 60. It still may be in “as is” condition, but it is NOT what they presented it to be. If not a full refund they should offer you at least 2/3 of you money back. Cause 23/60 is roughly 1/3 so you only got 1/3 of what you wanted.

Re: Not as Described
My guess is that it was an honest mistake rather than a purposely deceptive listing. Easy enough for a non-engine-geek to make.
If you would enjoy the project, you might contact the seller and try to work out a partial refund. If you really wanted a 60 and don't want it, even though the listing states "no returns" if the seller isn't receptive, the Bay can reimburse you. It's like pulling teeth tho, or it used to be.
A threat of a negative review might be enough to get some satisfaction. Worth a shot. Like you, I wouldn't be very happy, but I'd give the seller a chance to make it right before I got ugly about it. Mama always said you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Re: Not as Described
That looks like a pre war engine, like late 30s. Newer engines had beam mounts removed. The ignition parts sell for half what you paid.
The seller didn't know what is was. The paperwork is cool also.

Re: Not as Described
Lazy or newby seller read what was on the instruction sheet and not on the engine which is marked 23 in one of his photos. I would look for a partial refund.
Lot's of these appear on youtube and are fun to watch while running. You will have fun with it Eric.

Definitely get a refund. EBay and PayPal will cover you. The item was misrepresented. Case closed.

Still not a bad price for a complete sparky, regardless of size. I'm sure you didn't buy it to fly a 60 sized model, so for collecting, restoring & enjoying I'm sure it will still fit the bill.

Re: Not as Described
Eric, I guess my point was if this is a .60, and if your ignition parts will fit you could still have a .60 if thats what you want. I will trade you stuff for it.
