Maybe some pm's are just getting lost in the system.

I PM'd Jason some days ago and haven't heard a thing.  Rod say's they get little notice at the top of the page but an email notice also gets sent to your mailbox.

Hey Jim, I just checked my inbox (which is 60% full..) and no messages from you. I haven't checked my "personal" email in at least 2 weeks.. because I don't get much personal mail there.

What's new? Have you contacted (fit90) Bob?

Using "email" will send the message to the email address that the user used to sign up with. Some users may not use that address as their normal address, or they may have filters set in their email client to filter messages from CEF to a different folder/mark as read/trash.

As for PMs, once you hit "send" the message is sent to their PM inbox, regardless whether the box is 100% full or not (it will automatically delete the oldest message if it is full, place messages you wish to save in the save box). You can tell if a user opened the message you sent when that message moves from your outbox to the sent box.

Using Roddie, You out there? Icon_contact_pm is for sending a PM

Thanks for the operational detail Mr. Jacob...I wondered what happened with a full inbox (since mine is so full now).

Roddie, I want to do something for you for those wheels. Fit90 Bob wants my 2x4 glider kit. I'm not trying to get rich from it, so I figured maybe he has something you've been looking for. I got your wheels, he'll get my kit, and you get something cool, I hope!

So what can you use? He will "pay it around."
You two should probably PM each other. See if he has something that interests you. I'll give you guys a couple of days to work something out.

Ciao guys!

Hi Jim, I read your "email" this afternoon.. and replied (finally.. and sorry about that). I haven't corresponded with "Bob" yet.. but I can't think of anything (hobby-related) that I need right now.

Those little wooden wheels that I mailed to you, cost pennies.. bro. I'm glad that you like them!

Hi Roddie,

I may not post much. But, I am still in he loop, at least most days. Is there anything you want, are looking for or just dream about? Most of my stuff is R/C related. I also have a lot of Cox .049 stuff, both reedie and front induction. Just let me know. PM me your address and I can get it on its way within a few business days.

Have a super weekend,

Bob

Hey Bob! Great to hear from you. Keep us updated on that glider coming from "944Jim"!! I can't imagine flying a glider anywhere around these-parts.

Let us know if you need any flight-support.  Smile

Hi Roddie,

I just finished reading your post in "just curious." Man oh man, you summed up a lot for me! I have been involved with Cox engines and R/C since I was in my late teens (just a few decades ago.) I may not partake of the hobby as much as I used to; but, I appreciate the people more than ever. This is my only go to forum. As much as I know some people come and go, I really appreciate the "regulars" on this forum. The common core of respect and appreciation is undeniable and GREATLY appreciated! I just want all you to know how much I appreciate you and this forum.

God bless you all,

Bob
