Well, I bent a blade back 180 degrees and then pushed that half down to meet the other half flat, meaning a real sharp bend.
We used the same material they use in gas engine RC car wheels.

Is it "memory" plastic? Meaning will it form back into shape when bent.

To a certain extent, yes. However, for best results, bending them back by hand gives the best results.

Just a short note to clarify that the free propeller promo does not apply to purchases made on our eBay store, only our store located here:
www.coxengines.ca
as we pay eBay an 11% selling fee and cannot afford to also supply free props on top of that

Over 21,000 RPM - Pretty impressive!
Is that our 5-fin head with the high-compression insert?
Great advertisement for the prop ... thanks

Bernie:
Will these "indestructo" props be available in greater diameter and pitch or is this a marketing test?
To me the ultimate test is the torque delivered and not the RPM.
If I want to hear an engine SCREAM I run it on a flywheel only.

We have also found that this head really improves performance over the Cox stock head. It increases compression so much that, on some engines, one has to use 3 or even 4 glow head gaskets for the first few runs.

Dave,
we only have access to 5" prop moulds so that is as big as it gets. Technically, we could make the yellow ones in 5x3 and 5x4. We already sell the 4.5x4 ones in yellow and they sell really well.
Well, OK, we have access to the 8x4 mould but no plans to make yellow ones as we have plenty of the grey competition ones in stock.
It is just that we are running low on the 5x3 safety tip version and decided to run the next production in yellow. The safety tip version in black is our top-selling prop and the yellow will eventually replace the black when we run out.
