I agree with Bob.

That is one of the best character study pictures that I have seen. It would take someone much better with words that I am to describe that expression.  Introspective? No, to young.  I think she's questioning the photographers perspective.  "You should catch me when I'm in a good mood." Either way, that is a wonderful picture. You and Lynne are surely blessed.

Edit ad.  By pure coincidence I'm playing Crystal Gales "River Road" on the stereo.  Got it on repeat.  Sometimes I do that with songs that I like.  

Maybe she's Chasing her dreams to be down "River Road."

Those are some great pictures Roddie! You're a lucky guy to have such a beautiful granddaughter. I hope and pray that all goes well with River Lynne's little brother's entry into the world. He sure has a great grampa to look forward to spoiling him!

Thank You Dave. Her brother "Oakley James" was born on Saturday 8/1, weighed 7lbs 8ozs. and 20" long.

Lynne and I watched both vids.. Thanks for the links Robert. Lynne and I frequently delve into the Country-music genre.. when we do music at home. It isn't often lately.. but it's really special when it happens. Lynne can sing the s#yt out of any tune.. that anybody ever wrote. I'm biassed.. but she put's heart into her vocals.
