First new project in a long time...well sorta new
I started this 4-5 years ago (when my kid and i were doing some indoor R/C) and finally got around to finishing it up...installing push rods and set-up, etc..
Used a photo profile from book and trip to kinkos to enlarge. Cut oversize elevator, ailerons and rudder, cg was easy with battery and velcro. Got several flights on it now and it flies overall better than expected, not as floatey as i wanted, but handles winds better and seems perfect size for a football field, also bonus is that in the air it really looks like a 'stang.

Looks good Mark, Does it have an airfoil or is it a completely flat wing?

Nice Mark yep,
Folks could make one out of balsa, skin it with shrink film and fly with a TD .020 RC.

Hi Mark, Good to hear from you! Congrats on finishing the model.. and great to know that its performance exceeded your expectations. I like the dark grey and absence of graphics (kinda stealthy).. and can understand how it could more closely resemble the full-scale aircraft when in flight.
Umm.. is that a 4-roll toilet-paper cradle by chance?
