Sparkers - different

Re: Sparkers - different
Bob, they appear to be glow plugs your showing. Do you have spark plugs as well? Are one of those engines a Rogers? I ran one years ago and the while I was needling it, the cylinder blew off and cut me real bad. I've taken some bad prop strikes but this was the worst. I guess the casting wasn't up to the job. Only two screws hold the cylinder on.

No spark plugs in 3/8", 1/4" only. Yes, both are Rogers. I haven't ran them. I have other sparkers, mostly Vivell's.
I got that O&R .29 to run using your suggestion of the Arden plug and back flipping. But the springed needle won't allow me to fine tune it as the angled spring in a certain position want's to find it's own non-tensioned position and on it's own turns back.
I separated the bad from the good glow plugs and dumped the bad ones along with gaskets into Brasso. Cleaned them but still work to do.
Washed the brass one off in warm water, RemOil, compressed air blow-out checked it again on the meter and it checked good. Have to light it up to see for certain.
Blocks of mahogany will make a nice display stand when I gather them all together and figure out what I want to do.
