Continuing with my clearing out and cleaning up efforts. This is the first issue of the Cox Stuka, as most of you know. It was a rescue and needed a good cleaning up. I replaced the tires, and went through the engine and cleaned it up, and it turns over nicely with good compression. It has some issues which are in the photos. One is the tail wheel brackets are worn down. I don't know for sure if the thing has an actual tail wheel! I've seen more black ones than green ones. The right side wheel pant has some damage on the top and the dive siren prop is missing a blade. And the tab that holds the bomb in place is missing. The good stuff is that it is pretty complete. All the canopy sections are there and in great shape. The pilot figures and the antennae are there in a separate plastic bag and were never used. As it sits right now it's a good candidate for a good polishing and some reproduction stickers and it will really shine. The box was in bad shape when I got it and I tried to re-enforce the paper and put it back together as best I could. It at least represents what the box looked like. They never intended for these models to last very long, much less the boxes, so it's amazing that it even exists.  I will ship the model in this box and them double box it. It's not perfect, but it is a Green Stuka and pretty rare, and really pretty complete. Asking  $175 plus actual shipping costs. I use Pirateship.com for shipping labels and can provide a quote to your zip code. Ask any questions you may have.
