Very pretty, well placed in this box which highlights it I have a very similar one with the same throttle ring but the back plate was missing. Mine had a red plastic tip on the ring like a litle handle

Plating plastic a subject I would like to know more about I think you have to coat the plastic with a conductive paint then it's almost the same as chrome plating dipping in an electrolite solution

Re: Just finished rebuilding and restoring Cox 190-8 engine
you prep them then paint them with lacquer the put in Vacuum Chamber that has pure aluminum strips that are attached to heating coils that melt the strips and with the part that has a Neg charge and the strips with a pos charge and no air in chamber when the strips melt they become vapor and attach to parts. This is the same way the coat CD disk andUV Sun glassesdavidll1984 wrote:Plating plastic a subject I would like to know more about I think you have to coat the plastic with a conductive paint then it's almost the same as chrome plating dipping in an electrolite solution

Ha I knew that some kind of paint was used but I didn't know for the vacuum chamber and also the aluminum strips I suspected that current was being used but I didn't really know how
