Re: Pageboy Build
Wow, Robert!! I would say your prop hooked pretty well. You may have to rename your Pageboy to Pylonboy. It wore me out just trying to keep up with it and I was sitting down! Thanks for the video.
Re: Pageboy Build
Robert, so far, I gather that MO has its share of wind. One only need to ask Kim.rdw777 wrote:You’re going to wonder where has the wind gone? LOL!!…. You may be able to fix up another RO Schoolboy with a PeeWee .020!.. That would be real sweetheart
One thing they have here that we don't have in NM - humidity and rain. So used to dead brown brush and it's so green in MO, it hurts my eyes!

Re: Pageboy Build
Thanks Andrew, Was very glad the prop worked as well!!!…I’ve carved a few balsa props for rubber but that’s a first for nitro…. Got a lot of good tips here on the forum to add to what I found to produce them… Love the alternate name … It does turn tight and will stay in its groove…. Much fun to fly!!
I bet it’s pretty there George…. I remember the vacations going out of state and amazing first impressions of much more water and green… You’ll have to show us some of the scenery when you get settled

Hmm, seems I have obtained a cousin or perhaps a brother. Look at it everyday. Perhaps one day I will give one of my Cox engines the priviledge of it powering a model around a circle.

Re: Pageboy Build
I’d call it a brother Bob, Came out of same block as Pageboy’s….It came out at
5 x 2 for an Infant but I bet a PeeWee would swing it just fine… Now I’m still a rookie at this so no guarantees above 25K!!! LOL!!… Honored to see it at your display case

Re: Pageboy Build
hey Robert the pageboy you have built, logged and flown is truly special scratch built with homemade exhaust throttle and topping it all off, a home carved prop. The pictures and video of it flying have been very enjoyable to watch. I especially appreciated your skill and confidence to fly in such rugged terrain where landing wasnt going to be a nice flair out on a mowed strip. great work and skill that Im sure brings you great pleasure and brings great pleasure to many CEF members following the story of the pageboy. great stuff in all respects.
