Bring a trailer......Airplanes sure
I follow "Bring-a-Trailer" auto auction site almost daily, but occasionally they offer an airplane. Not long ago a intact Aircoupe (Ercoupe) was auctioned and it went IIRC around $17K a bargain.
This one, just as neat.

Edit add. Went for $15,800.00. One for Kim
I go nutz over this stuff, Currently $21K and change. Drove one in Florida 1956.............off a sellers lot that is. $750 out the door. I was lucky if my wife and I together could scrape up $7.50

Re: Bring a trailer......Airplanes sure
The XK120 was sold for USD 43.500. That is a great deal. Normally, these cars sell for more than double that amount. The bad thing about the XK120 roadster is that this car is no fun to drive with the hood closed as there is no headroom. When driving you need to keep your head in a horizontal position all the time. Also, there is no space in the booth. I've driven the 3 XK models and I must say, the XK150 coupé is the best of them all.

No, but I had serious thoughts about that Ercoupe!!!!! I could have done it. I have a friend that is/was a long distance trucker with a flat bed that would carry it wings off and it was only a couple of hundred miles away. Build a hangar, take down a couple of trees I might have enough room to take it off. Crash, kill myself but with a smile on my face.
Good to see you talking cars again Lieven.
The Jaguar I drove in 1957 or '58 was a XK-140M. Unforgettable experience. Jarrard Motors in Pensacola. Identical to this one right down to the wheels and interior.
