Hi all
Thanks for your votes and the win. The pull starter on this is a fairly simple system. It reminds me of my old lawn mower as a kid. I’ve only seen a few of these on small inboard boat engines but doesn’t look like it would be hard to make one yourself. Its just a rear facing slot cut into the pulley. A very cool Cox engine, one of my favorites.

balogh I don't know who made the cooler. it was on the engine when I got it. it fits just fine. the only thing I did to it was repaint it and put in a new screw and lock nut.. Bobbalogh wrote:Congrats Basswood! Who made that nice water cooling jacket compatible with a COX glow head?
