Cox Engine of The Month
Ran my Hornet...

Ran my Hornet...
Not a bad little engine...
Very much like a TD in operation. Sounds different but, good! Probably due to the shorter stroke.
The exhaust is very close to the NV. It hurts to dial it in....... I like it very much and it runs well for an engine that was built in 1957 or 1958.

Oh no Ron don't make me run mine....
Seriously tho utubing a vid from your iphone is easier than putting a photo on
Here.
If you create an account (2 mins) while I go to bed, I'll pm a
'how to' first thing in the A M.

I'm just curious, when you watch flying videos like the ones I make on your phone, can you even see the plane enough to tell what's going on?

Ok John will do. What's wrong with running a 55yr old fragile cranked engine? Pansy........
I used a 6x3 to keep the revs down and 15% to save the plug. It's a hoot John even if you only do it once. You don't want to be on your death bed thinking if only I had ran my Hornet.......

Yep, I can see it, mostly when it comes into the forground though. Your planes go pretty darn fast Rusty so even on my desktop I have to watch closely.
