I found some info and drawing of this and built one complete copy. I also made up another kit. Both have hand drawn graffics and look very cute. I have the extra wing and recenty got templates for wing struts. So my built Firebay will become a Bipe. It even has aluminum rudder. Power is a Silver Bee with dual ports.

Amazing little interest in this. Walker/AJ was first with ARF 1/2A planes and they flew. Before Cox was even around in 1/2A market. lol!

They flew a LOT better then the TD4 that we had at the same time. What did you do for the balloon tank and the canopy?

There was a virtually new Firebaby on Ebay recently that was asking in the $K range.

I have a Firebaby Jr in good shape with a red tank PeeWee for it.

I cheated and have Golden Bee on it. Canopy is piece of polished aluminum as the rudder. I did not paint it it is inked on graffics. Final coat will be sprayed on. I have an Atwood Wasp and may use it on another one I made with ballon tank.
