Swap meet special New in Box Cox Sopwith Camel/ OK Snoopy heres your ride !!
I almost didn't go today to RC contest/ swap meet. Mama had a little extra cash and saved me trip to ATM so I went. Picked up some ni-cad c- cells for my Bolink car/ plus extra for ni- glow driver. Nice Hi-Tec 8 ch reciever with extrra crystal, plus rx battery all for $3.00. The best was a New in Box Cox Sopwith Camel. Plastic cover was gone from box but box intact. Plane was never removed from box. L/G / handle/ lines still in baggie. I can not belive so many passed this by. I arrived just before 11:00am. I wonder what these are worth ?? I don't have Folker Tri-plane but do have a Testors WW1 Albatrosse. The Red Baron used several planes during his Reign of Ace fighter Piilot. No I will not disclose what I paid for it, but pretty decent.

Very cool Dankar! Please post some pics.
I have a COX Fokker DR-1 Triplane and a Testors Sopwith. Neither have ever been flown.
When I was about 14 or 15, I had the blue and yellow COX Sopwith. It was a great flying little bipe. As far as worth goes, I've seen them sell for $125.00 and up new in box. If I were you, I'd hold onto it. I think those old COX Dog Fighters are just going keep gaining value as you don't see too many still in new condition let alone still new in box.
