There was an Olympic .15 that just sold on E-Bay..It had a billet aluminum venturi sideways like the one the sportsman has. They are usually anodized all red and stick up...Was the Olympic ever made with this silver billet venturi??

There is a chance that it came from the factory like that as it does look new, there is also a chance that it was replaced with a Sportsman .15 one.

My guess it was replaced with Sportsman. Never seen an Olympic without colored parts.

I agree probably a replacement. The position of the NV can be placed anywhere as it's free to rotate until it's tightened down.

Here is a pic of my Olympic. All anodized venturi, NV body, and reed retainer. The NV on that NIB Olympic definately was a replacement.
