Those 6 350-4 Pull Start Car Engines Came!
Yep, those engines already came! These are the ones that were sold by phastmotors, the same guy with the 99 191-6 car engines being talked about here> http://coxengineforum.forumakers.com/t2472-99-car-engines-for-30299-around-3-each . I would usually never buy anything that I don't get to see a picture of beforehand but I am impressed! Here is the listing that I bought> http://www.ebay.com/itm/330737425602
This guy needs to get good feedback. First off, the box came about 4 days before the estimated date. Second, they were buried in packing peanuts and wrapped in tissue paper. Third, they were in good condition and complete. Lastly, the price would be hard to beat!
These engines have been ran at some point, maybe as a engine test, maybe they were engines out of cars that were returned to the factory for some reason, maybe they were used to test new car models. Whatever they were used for, they all seem to have been used very little. 5 of them were gummed up and 1 of them was nice and loose. I'll try to tear one down and clean it tonight to run tomorrow.

Re: Those 6 350-4 Pull Start Car Engines Came!
Now to make some tapered prop drive plates. I found out yesturday that the large car cranks with the splined ends have the same size spline as the TD 09 drive plate. I turned one down on the outside to fit the large car crankcase outer diameter.
The 12 are sold already! No I did not buy them

Re: Those 6 350-4 Pull Start Car Engines Came!
I got one running! It actually started right up! I wouldn't let it run open for too long as I blew the piston con-rod in the Baja Bug engine a few years back after letting it overrev on the test stand. It was very clean on the inside, the reed looked like new and even the crankcase gasket and the venturi gasket were good so I just tossed them back in and used them.

Nice! I hope to get all the parts for my two car engines someday.

Comes to $13.66 an engine. Still not a bad price for a pull start car engine like these.
