hi,im currenly attempting to restore a early 1970's cox conrtol line spit...and guess what i need a complete rudder...i know this could be needle in a hay stack stuff or im better off collecting ens teeth, but just maybe somebody could help me out here? The one i have has a piece snapped off which could be glued yet it would be great to have a original on that is not broke/repaired .......is there any one who can supply me....and of what is the cost.

Hate to ask the obvious but have you searched the e-bay yet?

I don't collect or fly to older plastic planes but am always amazed at the amount of (expensive in my opinion) replacement parts for sale there

Hope one of our members can help you out

Welcome to the site...kind of cool how many of you in the UK are Cox addicted....grin

it might be a long time before you come across one, in the mean time you might grab some liquid plastic cement, Proweld, etc. coat both edges before joining, you can wet sand off excess with very fine paper and then buff.
