Throttled Tee Dee 051
Hi all,
Just found a Throttled Tee Dee on ebay, The seller reply my mail and mentioned that the collet seems slightly dented/ damaged.
I never seen a Throttled Tee Dee with QZ muffler.
Is it originally from manufacturer or someone add a muffler on it?

Pull the cylinder off and check to see if it has a open exhaust ports with 2 bypass and 2 boosts. I don't think the stock cylinder was ground down to use a muffer.

That is a TD .051 with a Tarno carb added with a standard Cox QRC muffler. The muffler was added to improve idle speed as the SPI would allow air to enter and prevent a low idle. That is a good price yet. Tops might see $65 to $75 when its all over with unless some crazy eyed bidder snipes it.

Hi Jason,
Thanks for info, you're experienced cox user, I can't even think about the muffler that matched with SPI cylinder that can improve the throttle performance. Must be sacrificed a couple hundreds rpm i think.
Maybe the cylinder not original tapered type to suit the muffler ?
