Sheez, I had a Termite inspection guy to deal with this morning, and then went out to the shop to try and finish getting the SS ready for its next expedition. Remounting the engine turned out to be a real pita. Nothing's ever as easy as it seems. The weather here is weird. It should be in the high 90s or low 100s and scorching the lawns. But it's only in the low 70s and drizzly. That's news. But at least I'm not feeling like I need to hurry my work. I feel like I'm in Seattle. I'll continue flying in my head. I think there's a breeze in there.

If it didn't rain, we wouldn't have the "Evergreen State". I can dress for the rain, they call the cops if I dress for weather in the 100s.

The Blue-Tailed Skink Population has exploded around and in, the Skunk Works. The tiny florescent rockets are darting everywhere underfoot and seem particularly enamored with door frame of my shop. Shhhhh! Washington has three distinct regions: west, central and east. Much of Central Washington is a desert with less than ten inches of annual rainfall.

Actually my sister in law lives in Seattle and says this Summer has been great. Warm and Sunny. When I was there a few years ago on the Fourth of July, we had to build a freakin fire in the chiminea to stay warm in the evening on the patio. But the weather was clear. Y'all's flowers have brighter colors than ours too. Odd, maybe the spectrum of sunlight is different.

I like that Repo show, I watched a couple and recorded a couple more. I used to watch Flightline on the Velocity channel Saturday mornings, but it hasn't been on lately.

Next time you come to see your sister in law, let me know and we'll drive up there to fly with you. Tha would be great. One of the clubs we are in has a couple circles at Auburn Aorport.
