Stumbled across this while running through the AMA's event Search Calendar, and thought I'd post it:

9/20/2015 -- Sugar Grove, IL (C) THIS IS ONLY A HOBBY 1/2A CONTEST. Site: Aurora Airport. James Renkar CD PH: 773.229.9353 Email: ukiepilot@comcast.net. 15/1459. This contest has three events, stunt, racing and scale. Stunt flies all four PAMPA classes using the Novice pattern. Racing flies the Sig Skyray with any Cox reed valve engine. I'd love to go there. I've really never tried to fly patterns 1/2A. Well, once before I was any good with a big stunter. I'm not sure what the "Novice "Pattern" is.

I used to attend this, it was a lot of fun, even designed a flat wing nobler with flaps, for the extra 20 points, bad idea.
