Re: Testors 4800 BD-5 Jet
Hi Eric,
Great history on the company. Thank you!
I actually called them. Now they are Rustoleum. There was a nice fella who took all my information and said he knew of someone who was part of Testors.
He asked for all the photos so I just emailed them to him. Maybe something will come about it. It was worth a shot. :-)

Re: Testors 4800 BD-5 Jet
I highly doubt that... LOL
There did not seem like there were many Testors people even there anymore.
Apparently Rustoleum purchased them a while back. Its really a shame. But that's what happens, The bigger purchase the big and small companies.
I just hope to hear back from them with some cool info...

Re: Testors 4800 BD-5 Jet
Well I heard back from John at Rustoleum and there's no good news. Seems that there is no one from Testors around anymore.
So they cannot confirm anything about the model. So we keep moving forward. Maybe someone will pass it along and someone will come forward. :-)
OK, when can I post photos???? Grrrrr.... lol

Re: Testors 4800 BD-5 Jet
I have something else that I would like to share to this post.
Does anyone know how long the probation time period is before I can post photos?

Lol, i'm glad to see you're off "double secret probation"...The plastic models were never made in Rockford, "Wild Bill" Netzeband passed away a couple years ago, he was responsible for a lot of the late seventies stuff. I'll add some note and photos later tonite...gotta go disc golfing!
