Admin:  what type engine is used? A car engine with beveled crankshaft or any babe bee type front end with the gear. Cox made so many varaitions??

The Cox Stinger used the same rear end. It was made available with the tires you depict and the later hard plastic wheels with painted white letters. Ken

Yeah, it looks like the funny cars (Pinto, Stinger, Vega) used this engine too.
