My PAW .055 RC is no longer NIB

Post  fit90 on Thu Mar 29, 2018 5:39 pm

I finally ran it. It is an absolute sweet heart. With an APC 6x4 it has a steady top end of 10,250 RPM with a steady idle between 5000 and 6000 RPM. That was slightly under compressed and slightly rich. If it started any easier it would have to be electric.

Nice looking engine. Glad it runs good for you. Any plans to put it in the air?

It has to fly. I am looking at some plans and kits to see if I can find something small and light enough.

Ah, nothing sweeter than an easy starting good running diesel. Well done.

I will try to make it work on this little electric foamie.

I am a little worried that the plane may be a little weak for the engine.
