What is the tooth count on the gears used for the dual 049?

Maybe Bernie can help you out?
I think he may have one to look at?

That is the design with two.049 engines with pinion gears turning a larger spur gear that spins the prop?

The better ones you find occasionally use Boston gears. 18 tooth on the engine and 22 tooth driving the prop. I have some that use finer pitch gears than these and made from aluminum. Not sure how those would last. Those are packed away.

HI. Hey Many THANKS! I see the one is G-168 all I can see on the other is H 22. Is that correct.
Love that radial!! Does it use the same gears???
