Quick question please....
So entering and discussing a given contest model is here, but validating assumptions/interpretation of rules is the other?

As far as I know, the contest hasn't been started yet as the details and rules are still in discussion.

Re: 2022 CEF prop rod entries discussion
Ok,here’s my idea for my entry.
The first picture below is of a Russian tether Speed Car that was on eBay last year. I thought about buying it and then decided to just save the photos of it and build at a later date. I’m intrigued by its’ bare bones' design.
I don’t mind sharing it here as I’m in this for the fun of it so, if anyone wants to build one similar, go for gold.
Photo 2 below is a “not to scale” looking down on roughly what shape I need to make it out of one piece of aluminium sheet.
The left-hand side of the photo is the front of the car. What look like stubby wings will be folded down ninety degrees to become the undercarriage supports. The box section to their left, folds up ninety degrees and is the engine mount for the .049 bee.
Photo 3 below is a side view scale drawing (but not final by any means) getting some idea of actual dimensions.
Front wheels are 60mm knife edge, still to decide on rears, will be small and light.
Darker part of vertical line at front is prop length
Getting it balanced right will probably be the tricky bit.
