Cox electric powered models
Heeeeelllpppp!
I have a Cox Icon radio and Rx, the one with the built-in BEC and ESC. I'm making a small model for my grandson and wanted to power it with a small electric motor. I find that I need to know whether the Cox motors were/are brushed or brushless.
In fact, if there's a supply of Cox electric motors somewhere I'd like to get a couple.

Re: Cox electric powered models
I'm not familiar with the Cox electrics, but if the receiver has a built in ESC, that will tell you. If it has two motor power leads, then it's for brushed motors. If it has three motor leads, then it's for a brushless.

Naw. If you're into electronic theory, you'll know the old debate about electron flow and hole flow. I'm firmly in the electron flow camp, although in the minority.

Re: Cox electric powered models
They would have been brushed. Brushless came out after they shut down that part of the company.
