My Uncle or Grandfather gave me this silencer; along with a Fox .15 (which is what it fits) and I was wondering if any of you know if it was a production item made by a company. There are no stampings on it... just "etchings of initials" of more than one prev. owner!

I'm with Travis on that one. The outlet looks very restrictive. Still neat though!

lol, no, no, no it's a early prototype!

yep, i'd guess somebody pinched the end together in a vise after loosing the back part, pretty clever.

So what looks like the front is actually the back?

no, i think the squeezed part is the back? It looks like there's just enough gap to let some exhaust out. I don't recognize the manufacture, but it doesn't look homemade, looks like a early version when muffler first came on scene, possibly a aftermarket?

You are correct Mark. The outlet is the only part that looks "hacked"... or should I say; "hack-sawn"... and then as you said; "squeezed in a vise". The angle of the pic. makes it look a lot more "restricted" than it actually is.
