300 Mile Loop for some servo wire and a Perfect 4 Ounce Wedge Tank

Got up and out early this morning to make a run up to the Rend Lake R/C Swap Meet in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

Pretty sparse pickin's, but DID come away with a Perfect 4 Ounce Wedge Tank for 50 cents, and some wire for the new 3M B.O.T.

Not the wildest haul ever, but had several good visits with the guys and also three of the Breezy Hill Gang that showed up.

Now...time for my nap!

two thoughts:
1-Anytime we can get out of the house to meet others too talk or show and tell Airplanes is a good day.

2-based on a current post/conversation, your 1st picture wants to make me Hurl! lol!

Good thing gas is cheap Kim.

SE 5 with the Saito? four stroke for $150 OBO didn't look too bad.

I THOUGHT the 'Boxes of Foxes' photo might get a response!

Swap Meets are always a toss-up on what you're gone find, but getting to visit with like-minded addicts is always fun.

I lucked out at my last swap meet. A guy was selling a 40 sized trainer with a Saito FS-40 four stroke and a new in the box radio for $50 total. I bought a gallon of 4-stroke fuel, but haven't gotten out to try it yet. I'm looking forward to the next swap meet in four months...
