Do t trow it out yet! You may need to make new ends and cable. That little round puck at the end may possibly salvaged. See if it is soldered on like old bicycle cable ends used to be.
I'll check at home tonight. Hopefully I didn't throw out the one from my junked Baja Bug.

Well Robot,
I looked where I expected to find it...nada!
I will keep you in mind as I clean out and remodel my hobby room. I am starting to think I tossed it not believing anyone would want a used one.

I got a new-in-pack cord from Matt at Ex Model Engines a couple of years back. Maybe quiz him??

Hello,
I've got an engine which I got in a parts buy that is missing its cylinder, glow plug, piston and rod but it does have the recoil cord as pictured in the photo of an engine on Ebay. Let me know if you're interested in it or still need it.
