Turbo charged flat head
I wanted to share with you the progress with this engine this engine will be turbo here is the configuration that I have chosen with the carburettor in front of the turbo charging a lot is to be done and some modification will be necessary but is taking shape slowly It's something I've wanted for a long time but the only multi cylinder engine I wanted at the time was an ops b20 super charge twin two stroke marine engine impossible To Find So I decided to modify an engine with a turbo charger i like the look it has
The engine is not fuly assembly Everything is set temporary for measurements

Re: Turbo charged flat head
robot797 It's a super charger but in a sense it's a turbo
It's driven with a drive shaft and pulley that parts that i have To build for the drive schaft it has two bearing I have to finish the fixing for the two bearings and the turbo The principle would be that this system produces little pressure but Still However increase the amount of air and fuel and at the same time also helps to atomize the fuel And this all without producing heat

Re: Turbo charged flat head
David,
That sure is a cute blower! Where does one find one that size?
More importantly, where could I find one for my 1965 Honda S-90?
90cc, 9k rpm max, normally aspirated (no forced induction) making about 8.5 horsepower. I know...pipe dream. But one I've had for decades.
I see how you employed this on your inline four cylinder engine. I also assume you have a small.machine shop at your disposal. That has to be nice to have. Good for you!

Re: Turbo charged flat head
When I was younger I remember having a friend who had found an electric turbo for a Chinese motorcycle which had an engine which is almost the same in every way as a honda ct st almost the same as the one u have it had a small valve to let out the excess air at the front of the carburettor that looked like reed valve petals But I don't remember how he modified the carburettor, surely it was different. And most manufacturer's smallest turbo model would surely be too big. But there are certainly possible options électrique turbo of som sort

Speaking of Eric's Honda C90 turbo charge post, rather than deviate off topic, created a new off-topic thread of this video discovered through a suggested related topic of interest by YouTube:

Re: Turbo charged flat head
I thought I was going to hear a turbo whistle look this one this is first test its for prof of concept It's 9 years old I know it's not like reinventing the wheel but sometimes I'm looking for a video of a nitro turbo or super charge engine I saw someone during the years I noticed that with carburetors it's possible but it must be placed at the before the turbo a super charge works very well but I don't see much success in modifying a nitro super charge engine we have already seen the ops b20 but no video of this engine runinggetback wrote:Check this out Jim > Engine looks Good Daved I hope you can make or find the items needed to finish getting where you want to bee with it .
