Interesting. A bunch of R&D work and money spent to get that right.

The prices all round are a bit odd for the time, £10 or more for a sparkplug? they are only about £5 - £6 now.
The REALLY fascinating bit for me is the address quoted to obtain spark plugs... "Minimag, 358 Birmingham Road, Walsall, West Midlands". I was born at 341 Birmingham Road, Walsall, West Midlands!! That area was, and still is, completely residential, certainly no commercial properties, so it was probably someone trading in a small way from his house, which may explain the high prices.
