Sounds like a good combination, Godsey. How are your flying skills coming along? I wish you'd catch some of your adventures on video.

Happydad: I sent you a pm regarding plans.

Hey Rusty,

They are coming pretty good. I have a nice video of me flying my 1/2a Skyray. It had a Black Widow on a Killer Bee backplate with pressure (some time ago I did this). It was when I first tried inverted. My figure eights look a little off still. I need to make the loops smaller in them. Outsides while inverted are no problem. I have yet to do and outside loop while flying normally. Other stunts come with ease. I like to equip some of my planes with massive throws to force me to manage how much I use and make the stunt look nice. I do not do this on all of my planes. I was hoping to build another Ringmaster and just bash it around. Save the one I have because I love the way it looks.

have you thought of rusty's idea of building a slightly larger version of the baby ring master like 26inch or so? it would be interesting to hear about the difference between the 21inch version like sterlings and maybe a hybrid like a 26inch. my two cents. Two Cents

I would do that but I do not really have a good power source for one. One like that would probably be well suited with an .061. I still have not been able to get one. It would be very fun though. I may have to try it someday when I can get one of those engines.

At 26" your not going to need more than a good TD or a hot mouse.

Keep in mind the Baby Flight Streak is 26" and it stunts like a scalded cat from what I hear. A 26" span just means it will stunt better with more wing area an not much more weight.

I am not sure as to how fast my Tee Dees run. My tach is an older model and cannot really do the higher rpms. It can get a good reading when idling though. I may try it. Use same size wood. Build it light. I have to place an order with sig for some leadout wire for my fathers Sig Banshee and I was considering getting some .008 line. I could also throw in some 1/2a leadout wire for the Infant (bigger than a baby) Ringmaster.
