Scientific Bonzo plans/ build.

Good friend sent me a set of plans for this. Plus found another set of similar but differnt version. I don't think i'll do either with reedie.
I'll start with a Medallion .049 dual bypass set-up. Make them with engine rails. See how it flys but will increase wing/ span and enlarge tail dimentions. Not many decent 1/2 A planes out there. This will be easy build. lol!

Did a search online for a picture of one. What does it look like? Speed race cantidate?

There was plans on 1/2A yahoo groups. Wing is sheet biult up / flat bottom air foil. More of a racer than Scientific version. Beam mounted engine like Td .049. I plan on using both plans for my bird. Mine will have beam mounts with a nacelle/ and stunt airfoil. I may even modify plans a little. Very Happy

Found some nice wood and will soon cut out two or three kits. One for sure will be beam mounts other maybe try a custom reedie.
Engine has some goodies and see how it runs. Airfoil on plans isn't half bad for Scientific model. Santa

Interesting. Definitely for going fast and straight. It does have small tail feathers. Must've had one helluva heavy engine.

If the beam mount introduces any building difficulty, remember you can get the radial mount backplate for a Medallion from Texas Timers.
