How I'm spending my Saturday.
Big combat match in Phoenix all weekend.
I need a setup like this:
So is it bad form to scavenge busted planes from the trash?

One man's trash is another man's treasure. Anything in the bin is fair game.JPvelo wrote:

You can't really be inconspicuous hanging around the trash can ... but you can keep h/d snips in your pocket... then when nobody's looking; cut out bell-cranks to stuff in your coat pocket! Just watch out not to get stabbed by the push-rods!
of course... "I'd" never do something like that...

I'm with Andrew...life is WAY too short to let little stuff like pride and dignity cramp a guy's style. I say, "DIVE IN THERE!!"
You can ALWAYS berate any detractors by taking the environmental, and moral high-ground...claiming to save the Earth from waste !!!
But, as Roddie said, watch the durn pushrods...the suckers will ALWAYS leave an infected wound!
I...on the other hand, have dedicated my Saturday, and Sunday also...to the lofty pursuit of backyard construction of a high-performance jet aircraft!!! Film at 11....

I see by your choice of propulsion system that your knocking this one off your "bucket list".Kim wrote:I'm with Andrew...life is WAY too short to let little stuff like pride and dignity cramp a guy's style. I say, "DIVE IN THERE!!"

I finally after month's got my bike back together. It took forevevvvvvvvvvvvvvvver to finish. I never seen so much crap piled into such a small area. The most ridiculous repair I ever did due to a rocker case leak which required the engine to be removed to repair. Ken
