First time I have seen one of these. I know Cox marketed in Canada but never knew they changed the packaging for engines. I had to have it

Cox products were sold by Leisure Dynamics based in Ontario. Packaging was different.

Funny, I bought a TD .049 in London Ontario right around the time the one you bought was new and it came in the cardboard box that we are all familiar with.
Don Mills Ontario was the location of Leisure Dynamics. The history of Don Mills Ontario is interesting to read.

Hey Ron, Wayne was asking me today if you'd gone to the Gluedobbers contest last weekend. I told him I didn't think so, as you hadn't mentioned it unless I missed it. And it might have been just a Combat gathering. He's always interested in how you're doing.

I have a NIB 049 and a NIB 051 in my collection in this Canadian packaging. They both have thick wall cylinders. French and English manuals printed in 1997 and 1998.

I looked up on Wikipedia, you're right quite a neat, strange, social experiment. Just a small mention of the owners desire for "more profit " in developing housing rather than a brewery! My first thoughts were the brewery would have provided more profits in long term cash flow, but, on the other hand if your the owner/governor of the parcel and collect taxes.....there's no end to the cash flow with out the production problems!
