[Never knew these existed until Rusty wrote about his.  Since then I've been looking for a set that was priced reasonably.  Found this on the 'bay from a seller in Alaska. Delivered free in 3 days. Manufactured in Japan which is rare these days Surprised

Yea!  You will like them. I put them on my Christmas wish list after reading Rusty's post. I got the JIS set of four  and a set of taps  Set includes: 2-56, 3-48, 4-40, 6-32 and 8-32 taps.  Just to clean up the crankcase threads.

For those who don't know; JIS is "Japanese Industrial Standard". Smile Apparently the taper-angle is slightly different than the standard Phillips bits.

Congratulations on finding a set. Having the right tool for the job is so much better than not.

Glad I inspired y'all's interest. You'll come to really enjoy them when you come across the screws they're designed for.  I still haven't replaced my good old no.2. I liked the long shaft on it. It was 12 or 14" and great for finger spinning machine screws as fast as an electric. Remember it was from my copier days when deep reach and strong magnetism without a bulge was of utmost importance. I think I'll get a regular length 0,1, & 2 set someday soon. I like the shape of those handles. What's the seller's name?

That's exactly what I want if the described non-magnetic tip will hold a charge from a magnetizer. I hope the steel is hard. I added it to my watch list, thanks. Maybe for Christmas.
