Hmm, pretty darn cool. The buggy that I have is never going to be a museum piece. This might be a good way to bring it back to life. Thanks for posting the link, good read.

Quite a simple approach. It would be cool to find some early '70s radio gear to do this with. At the local auction site there is a never-run orange Cox Beetle, asking 40€ plus shipping
