Whats the difference between the hotshot and thunderbolt wen macs? Did they make the hotshots until the end of production or did they stop on a certain mk#?

Maybe this will help. Not much said about the "Thunderbolt". Basically, sounds like any Wen Mac with a glow head is considered a "Hotshot". Doesn't appear that the name carried through to the McCoy & Testors branded engines.

I'm not sure how to post a power point, here's a link to it, Warren Leadbetter made a Power Point from Guy Eves breakdown of every version made. https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/049Collectors/files
Testors called them McCoy engines, it's interesting that you can reference manufacture date with model number, unlike others where there may not be a change for several years.

What's with the negative vote for Mark? This is all relevant information considering the original question.

On the right hand side of each message you'll see a "+" and a "-". If you look at Marks post with the photocopy of the pages you will see a green bar with a little red on the bottom. If you like what someone has to say you can click the "+" and the bar turns green, a "-" makes it turn red. It was half & half when I looked, so I clicked the "+" and now there's more green than red. (More positive comment than negative). It all goes towards the members' "Reputation" score.
Personally, someone would need to make a really offensive or unhelpful comment for me to vote "-". People are quick to blame a "mistaken" negative score, but I can't see how it's so easy to make that mistake.
Rod.
