Wen Mac P-38

Post  OneWingLow on Sun Mar 19, 2017 6:36 pm

My latest purchase is a grey Wen Mac P-38.  Photos are attached.

I chose to bid on this one rather than one with red props.  Is there a significance in the two beyond the prop color?

Thanks for any insights.

Best wishes, Hadrian

Congrats, i believe The red prop version is an earlier version (going off of feeble memory) look at the engine case and see what series it says, probably Mk.II?

I followed that auction for awhile and was struck by the positive dihedral of the wing vice negative of the full scale and wondered if it was manufactured that way or somehow settled into that position.

That B-25 is a winner, beautiful model with unusual engines.
