Larry Renger
Yes,
I bet Larry would love posting here. When I talked with him I told him about this tread and forum, lets see if he comes and posts.
I'm using s single loop, 84 feet, of the spider wire, the later 1990s style blue Cox handle has only one line spacing. I'll start a thread on the PT-19mods I did, to tune it up.

Re: Hangin' with Larry Renger - Cox Legend
My daughter and I spent a few minutes with Larry yesterday and invited him to join in on the CEF conversations. I just sent him the link to this thread and look forward to reading more of his history and Cox stories.
Best,
Tony

I occasionally get to fly with him at the local Church Gym, which is by invitation only. Randy puts it on, he and I, and Larry all worked at Cox, so it's like old home week every time I go. How often do you work at a place where some 40 years later, you still hang out with you co-workers? Well, Larry and Randy are those once in a lifetime type people, God bless them for all they do, and have done.

"Tustin" jarred my memory.. and I recalled this letter officially promoting Bill Seltzer to President of L.M. Cox Manufacturing Co. Santa Ana, CA in 1970. Note the closing-sentence..
