new wen mac mkXIII from Mark B
Just a short video of the mkXIII I got yesterday. Twenty minutes in the toaster oven got her unstuck. Then a used starter spring and clutch got everything working. Here is a clip running on a Mecoa adapter head.

What size prop did you use / fuel mix?
This helps when looking at a tach reading.
Thank you,

Those adaptor heads get a pretty bad wrap but the engine seems to be singing away quite nicely, and that's a half reasonable speed- I've got perfectly good Babe Bees that don't pull any more RPM that that.

As a dedicated, stump-jumping Redneck, I'd be totally tickled with any 'Non-Fancy' engine that cranked out a dependable 14k !!!

The prop is a 6x3 cox thimble drome, and the fuel is 20% nitro and 20% oil. I normally use 10% but that head is low compression and likes the 20% better.1/2A Nut wrote:What size prop did you use / fuel mix?
