Done a clean up of a Medallion .049 RC 1968 (#240 and throttle #2450) and this is what i found after tear down for a cleaning and replace the Carb. Body ....... 
After the stranded cleaning Hobbies #9 and brushing polishing / then alcohol flush ....
Well she is on the selling block now but still mine , i have another i need to clean also but it will have to wait ,, that took some 3 hrs..

Erik, great job in renewing that medalian, she was really gummed up inside. Do you know how important the rotating spray bar and linkage is to proper operation of the throttle?
I have just the aluminum wrap around part with the sliding throttle valve. Have not installed it on anything but was wondering if it would still work with out that rotating spray bar.

No i have never ran one of these engine but had 3 so far lol i would think it would work but not as good as it appears the spray bar moves to the bottom as it goes to idle , here is a pic of blown instillation ....
